identities matter

Culture and emotion centered psychotherapy for QTBIPOC community

It is my belief that our individual, interpersonal, and collective wellness and restoration is a lifelong journey that extends towards our collective, familial, ancestral lineages, and future descendants. It is this belief and practice of interconnectedness that centers my therapy practice, helping others build towards a legacy of wellness and health. It is my pleasure to support you during your journey towards enhancing health and wellness.

I believe that identities are an essential component of therapy as exploring and understanding ourselves allows for deeper self-awareness, facilitating personal growth and meaningful change. I invite every client to bring their truest selves into our space. While we strive to create a safe space for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent friends, all are welcome. Just remember to be yourself, express yourself, and embrace your inner wierdo.

I use a multidisciplinary approach to psychotherapy by utilizing humanistic, psychodynamic, and emotion-based modalities. I utilize a decolonial-feminist and multicultural lens weaving liberation psychology and indigenous ways of knowledge in my therapy work.
